Nepal Telecom Launched 4G Services in Kathmandu and Pokhara Today

Nepal Telecom has launched fourth generation (4G) service in Kathmandu and Pokhara from January 1st 2017. The state-owned utility launched 4G in a bid to provide faster and higher quality data services to its subscribers. The internet services will be faster as the current speed of mobile data transfer is 14 MB/second, while after the launch, the speed will increase to 35 MB/second, claims the utility. The 4G service will be extended to other cities too, NT claims. NT users will be able to user 4G service on their mobiles from the first day of its launch. Though iphone has 4G-compatible models, the service will be inaccessible for iphone users because Apple has not turned on location enable feature for NT networks. The utility recently asked Apple to turn on the feature. But enabling is expected to take sometime, meaning the service will not be immediately available to iphone users. Nepal Telecom brings festival offer

As usual following the past years, Nepal Telecom (NT) has announced attractive offer for its users targeting the Nepalese greatest festivals Dashain, Tihar and Chhat. Nepal Telecom is the top company in Nepal for providing the communication service via phone and internet. According to NT, it will provide 100 MB data at Rs 50 and 250 MB at Rs 100 between October 1 to 15 and October 28 to November 6. The 100 MB data offer is valid for 5 days, while the 250 MB pack can be used for 10 days. Under these offers, the users can use 10 minutes of voice call and 10 SMS and 25 minutes of voice call and 25 SMS, respectively. Nepal Telecom Logo In addition, NT is offering 500 MB and 1,200 MB night surfing at Rs 40 and Rs 85, respectively. The data packs are valid for 7 and 15 days, respectively. Kaspersky New Version Launched

A new version of Karspersky - The Internet Securiry product was launched in Nepali Market. Sagar Technolink is the authorized distributor of Kaspersky in Nepal. The product was launched in a program called Kaspersky 2017 in Kathmandu on Monday. Kaspersky is the most sellable antivirus product in Nepal and the company says, "these anti-viruses will protect Android, Mac and Windows users against malware, dangerous online sites, online tracking and money theft". Speaking at the launching ceremony, Altaf Halde, managing director of South Asia Kaspersky Lab, said the new product is more powerful and that it has been enhanced further to ensure users privacy and security. The new product can be purchased from the company's retail store and through online portals baleyo.com, esewa.com.np, muncha.com, sastodeal.com and kaymu.com.np. Price of the new anti-virus starts from Rs 1,000 to Rs 5000.
